Current Research

As of 2018, our research program is expanding to study the decision-making and synchrony of long-finned pilot whales using aerial videography and photogrammetry.

Additionally, we will be maintaining our monitoring program out of Pleasant Bay, NS - where we conduct research off a whale-watching platform in partnership with a local tour operator to collect photographic, behavioural, acoustic, and environmental data.
